body pillow full support pillow CU9000
ABSOLUTELY THE BEST! I do not know if I can stress enough how much I LOVE this pillow. This is my fourth pregnancy and I have tried a lot of different products out there. With my third pregnancy, I even invested in one of those pregnancy blow up beds with the hole in the center for your belly and spent 5 months sleeping on the floor in front of my bed-ugh! Okay on to the Comfort-U total body pillow. What I love about it is it has just the right amount of firmness and softness to support your head, your legs, your belly or whatever you want to prop up or lay on. I do not need to use any other pillows with this while I am sleeping. I do use my regular pillow to prop me up more when I sit up and watch television, but do not need it to sleep. Let me say, I am a pillow snob-take my pillow with me on vacations, to visit family, etc...because I like a nice mushy pillow. This was my problem with the other body pillows; they were either too firm or too flat and I still had a fort of pillows in the bed. This pillow is just right. The pillow is big, so if you are in a bed smaller than a queen (I am in a king) you may find it too big for the bed if you share it with someone else. I must say I have caught my husband snuggling up against it, so it is large but it's soft and not intrusive. I was skeptical on spending the money for this, but boy am I glad I did. I read other reviews that said the same thing I am saying and I am so happy I listened. This pillow is really great. review By K. Dubose
Saved me!! I hesitated to buy a $100 pillow for pregnancy. But I'm not a side sleeper, so I was having real problems sleeping by about 16 weeks. Every time I turned over, I'd have to re-adjust all my pillows. So I took the plunge. This pillow has fulfilled all of my expectations and then some (I'm now 34 weeks, so have used it for almost 5 months). I'm a pillow snob too (I have 'my' pillows that I have trouble sleeping without), and this pillow is the perfect combination of soft and supportive. Also, a couple reviews said it was for 'large' people, which worried me, but I personally haven't found this to be the case (I'm slender and 5'7", and then there is the pregnancy bump of course!)
I chose this pillow because I wanted a 'horsehoe' pillow that went down both sides of my body, as the doctor said I could half-lie on my back as long as I had pillows propping me at an angle. This is why I chose this pillow over the other pregnancy pillows that only go on one side of your body, and I'm SO GLAD i did. I cannot imagine having to move a huge pillow from side to side every time you roll over. Added to that, with this pillow I can lay on my side and curl around it with the front of my body, then also lean back a little with the pillow behind me to get a bit of a different position. The pillow is always there no matter how I shift positions! I tried to sleep without it for one night when I was staying at my mom's, and my hips had sharp, shooting pains and I barely slept. Yes, it is that dramatic!
Some people have commented on the size - it is a big pillow. I have actually slept with it in a single, queen and king sized bed, as I learned I can't sleep without it and so took it with me when I traveled (in a huge duffel bag - again, I love this pillow). In a king-sized bed, my husband has plenty of room and there is no problem whatsoever. In a queen bed, there is a bit less room, but my husband didn't complain, especially because he can curl up to the outside of it as well. It even worked with me alone in a single bed! I guess the one downside is you can't cuddle with your partner (my husband calls it my 'nest'), and I do miss that, but honestly, I'm up and turning and going to the bathroom so much that it would keep him up anyway!
The only downside I could think of is that the stitching in the zipper seam of the pillow case frayed a lot with the first wash. After that, I was worried that the pillowcase would soon fall apart, but it hasn't (it's had about a dozen washes now). I now just make sure to zip the zipper closed when I wash it, and that works to prevent the fraying. By the way, this is my first Amazon review, though I've purchased many products. I just have heard a lot of women in my prenatal classes complaining about sleep, so I wanted to share how well this pillow worked for me. review By poetrylover

the boppy total body pillow
Love it! Love it! Love it! I LOVE this pillow. It offers the support that I need without being overwhelming in bed. I can turn back and forth from side to side with it relatively easily. It also doesn't take up too much space so I don't kick my hunny out of bed while using it. I like the options with it as well. You can fold it in half and prop yourself up to read or watch tv, lay it on one side of me so I can lay more on my back with support or all the way on my side with it between my legs and rest my arm on it. Plus, I know I can use it when the baby comes too to prop him up while relaxing or breastfeeding. It's the perfect "fluffiness" and hasn't deflated like some other reviews stated. I was skeptical when I saw how small it is when its in the packaging but it's been a life saver thus far and I plan on using it as much possible. I HIGHLY recommend! review By Janelle Means
LOVE IT , I love the Boppy Body Pillow! I can't live without it. I couldn't sleep well starting in my 6th month. I was restless and up every hour. When I got the pillow that all changed. So soft and comfortable I fell asleep within minutes and didn't wake up during the night. review By Candace
body pillow snoozer additional pillowcase
Just buy it! I never write product reviews online, but I want all pregnant women considering this product to just bite the bullet and buy it. I was very apprehensive about such a weird looking pillow creature sharing our bed, but I shouldn't have been - it's great. There are several choices to make regarding filler and size once you've honed in on this particular pillow. I bought the expensive goose down full length pillow, and I'm glad I did. I know it's expensive, but my sleep is too important to skimp on. I was worried that the down pillow might be too soft, as many down pillows are quite flat, but it is very full and more supportive than I ever figured down could be.
My husband and I sleep in a queen size bed, and I was concerned about how this pillow would fit in our bed. While it is rather large, it hasn't been a problem. I don't seem to take up any more room curled up with the snoozer than I do just side sleeping with my knees bent. He doesn't mind it, anyway. And, I love it! I figured when I bought this pillow that I'd continue using my tempurpedic pillow for my head, but the snoozer is so comfy that the tempurpedic has been kicked out of the bed.
To my surprise, I've found that I also really love using this pillow to prop myself up to read in bed. Curled into a "U" shape behind me, it provides great armrests as well as really nice support. As this will be my first child, I don't know about breastfeeding yet, but I imagine this pillow will be great for that, too.
I bought this pillow when I was about 4 1/2 months pregnant (before I probably really needed it), and now that I'm at 6 months, I am SO glad to have it. And, I really doubt that I'll stop using it once I deliver the baby. Pregnant or not, I really like the support between my knees and under my side to keep my from rolling over onto my belly. Bottom line - just buy it! I really doubt you'll be sorry. revieBy A. Mckenna

Will get another one when this wears out! I LOVE this pillow. I got it to make my pregnancy more comfortable at night and it did! Now I know that I will never sleep without one...even when I'm not pregnant. It is so comfortable. review By Allison A. Halsted
body pillow - ivory
Improved sleep and comfort for this pregnant gal, I was a little hesitant about purchasing this product regarding a few of the issues some reviews mentioned (price, quality, seam, size), but now that I have used it I am incredibly glad I bought it. I am 6 months pregnant, 5'7'' and have a fairly slender build and sleep on a queen size bed with my husband.
Here are the things I love about this pillow:
Here are the things I love about this pillow:
- My overall sleep time has increased and deep sleep has improved. I think this is because the pillow hugs all around my body and I can roll over without adjusting 4 pillows. Now I don't even have to move the pillow, it is already where it needs to be.
- Before pregnancy I always slept on my back and the switch to side sleeping has been incredibly difficult. This pillow has helped me feel comfortable on my side as well as offer kind of an in-between back and side position. Also, it has kept me from rolling on my back naturally while I sleep, which has been most helpful.
- There are many positions to use this pillow as well as many positions you can assume with each pillow position. It also supports a growing belly very nicely.
- I personally find the pillow stuffing to be pleasantly soft yet supportive at the same time.
- This pillow is great for mid afternoon rests and short breaks.
- Though it is a bit bulky it takes up only my half of the bed (queensize). My husband has not been annoyed or cramped because of it. In fact he often snuggles up against it in the night.
Cons: (minor ones at that)
1. A little pricey. But what price would you pay for a better, less miserable night of sleep.
2. Slightly rough pillowcase.
3. Less snuggle time through the night with hubby, but we can still be pretty close.
This pillow has fit my needs very well and has been worth the money.
**As an update. June 2008. This pillow has really helped me post partum. Nursing has been easier, it is very comforting to snuggle in when I'm feeling a little blue, and my body aches have been reduced thanks to it's many support positions. I personally feel that I would not have been very comfortable without this pillow especially the last 2 months of pregnancy.
I have one additional complaint about it. the pillow case became quite nubby and even more rough in some spots (mostly the area that my feet and legs occupied). review By C. Johnson

boppy prenatal sleep wedge
Pregnancy wedge that has multiple uses, I got this wedge to support my tummy when sleeping on my side while pregnant. I already had the Boppy full support body pillow which I loved, but still did not get the adequate support for my baby belly when using the body pillow alone. The wedge is small and worked well with my body pillow. I would tuck this wedge in under my belly and it did make a difference, making me more comfortable. The slipcover zips off, washes nicely, and easily zips back on. The wedge is made of a firm foam. The only nuisance was when I had to switch sides due to my hips going numb, I would have to readjust my wedge every time, but it only took a few seconds as it is a good compact size.
I continued to use this wedge after my baby was born for a few different uses. We used it in his bassinet, underneath the top part of the mattress to raise my baby's head as the rounded part of the wedge fit perfectly in it. My baby could not lay flat due to spit up and acid reflux issues, so the wedge provided the perfect rise. I also used it during nursing to provide an added boost to baby's head. I placed it underneath my baby's head, on top of the regular Boppy pillow to raise his head closer for nursing. We also used it to raise my baby's head when he was lying down next to us. We monitored him at all times whenever we used it this way.
Overall this wedge has been used a lot, more than we originally thought when purchasing it. I would recommend it. review By Shanody

boppy bare naked pillow
Absolutely Indispensable, Ask any new mom what their favorite baby product is and they will have a impassioned review of an item that 'saved' them during the those bleary first few months. For some, its the fancy breast pump that at first seemed too expensive and later became the cherished gateway for a few hours rest. For others, its the mechanical swing that allowed them to do some laundry or eat a meal. For me, its the Bare Naked Boppy. A pillow for breast feeding? Oh it's not just for breast feeding. Sure, it provides the perfect little platform to rest your tiny one while she eats. It frees up you hands to do such essential 4 am activities as flipping channels looking for something that isn't an infomercial on TV. The boppy is an appendage, a constant companion. Its good for a million uses, most of which are clearly warned against on the label. Most of all the boppy is part of the ritual of feeding that I found so helpful in establishing breast feeding. The bare naked version allows you to easily wash the cover. The only way I would improve this product is to install a pocket that holds extra burp clothes so you dont have to go running for one in a pinch. review By Josiecat
Pros and Cons, I nursed my son with the original Boppy for a year. Yes, it is wonderful and everything the other reviewers said. However, my issue is that it begins to "bend" in the middle from use. Really, this is fine...I mean a year of nursing is going to be hard on any pillow. But my main complaint is that the covers they make for these things are NOT waterproof (or spit-up proof). What is the point of a cover? I had to wrap my entire Boppy in saran wrap, then put the cover on to get any protection nd prevent smelly stains. just my two cents. review By Pleased
